2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

• Provide and improve the Service
• Calculate VDOT scores and race predictions
• Search for your race history during onboarding
• Process subscription payments through Stripe
• Send important updates about races and the Service
• Analyze usage patterns to improve features

3. DATA SHARING

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with:

• Stripe — for payment processing (only payment-related data)
• Supabase — our database and authentication provider
• Google Analytics — for anonymized usage analytics
• Vercel — our hosting provider

4. PUBLIC PROFILE

Your athlete profile (name, country, race results, and VDOT score) may be publicly visible to other users. You can control your profile visibility from your account settings.

5. DATA STORAGE & SECURITY

Your data is stored securely on Supabase servers with row-level security (RLS) policies. We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. Payment information is handled directly by Stripe and never stored on our servers.

6. COOKIES

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We also use Google Analytics cookies to understand how users interact with the Service. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings.

7. YOUR RIGHTS

Under GDPR and applicable privacy laws, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Object to data processing
• Withdraw consent at any time

8. DATA RETENTION

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial obligations.

9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The Service is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email or through the Service.
